Isha Chaudhary | MS | EXAMINING ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR IN HIGHER EDUCATION: THE ROLE OF WORKPLACE CAMARADERIE, EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND FRIENDSHIP SELF-EFFICACY This study inspects the role of workroom camaraderie, employee engagement, friendshipself-efficacy in influencing organizational citizenship behavior within higher educationinstitutions. This study, which focuses on faculty members from higher educationinstitutions, examines important variables in the Human Resource Management field andis grounded in social exchange theory. A sample of 269 participants provided data viaonline and paper-based questionnaires. The results show that every variable is significant,emphasizing the vital role that a positive and stimulating work environment plays inhelping organizational citizenship behavior. This study advances Human ResourceManagement by illuminating the ways in which faculty camaraderie, engagement, andself-efficacy can strengthen collaboration, foster harmony, and raise the standard ofinstruction. Ahmad Hassan | MS | “Impact of Paternalistic Leadership on Employee Commitment and Innovative Work Behavior with Idiosyncratic Deals and Employee Empowerment as a mediator” It is utterly important to observe how leadership styles and flexibility could affect theworking behaviors of employees. This study was aimed to identify the effect of paternalisticleadership behavior, idiosyncratic deals in job and employee empowerment on employeecommitment and innovative work behavior of employees in the pharmaceutical industry,specifically in regions of Punjab Pakistan during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thequestionnaire method was used to collect data from 325 pharmaceutical employees workingin different organizations. Data was analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0 to evaluate measurementand structural model. The reliability and validity has been calculated through Varianceinflation factor (VIF) and Heterotrait-Monotrait Ratio and Forner-larker Criterion.Hypotheses have been tested through structural model. The findings of this researchsupported the proposed hypotheses that paternalistic leadership significantly impact thecommitment level and innovative work behavior of employees in the pharmaceuticalindustry. ISTABRAQ ILYAS | MS | “Effects of humorous leadership styles on creative self-efficacy: a gender perspective” The aim of this study was to investigate the humorous leadership styles among men andwomen and to compare the level of creative self-efficacy among men and women followers. Itwas also included to measure the effects of positive and negative humorous leadership oncreative self-efficacy with respect to gender. The study was carried out in Lahore andGujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. The population of this study was taken from employees ofsoftware development houses and Cellular service provider headquarters. Data was collectedfrom 350 subjects by using cross-sectional study technique. Two tools, Humorous LeadershipStyles and Creative Self-efficacy scale were used. The collected data was analysed by usingSPSS (Version-23) and AMOS (Version-10). The results on SEM model elaborated thatboth men and women with humor styles have notable impact upon male creative self-efficacy and female creative self-efficacy. Gender significantly moderated theconnection among positive humor (male and female) and creative self-efficacy.Similarly gender significantly moderated the relationship between negative humor(male and female) and creative self-efficacy. The results revealed that males wereremarkably higher on creative self-efficacy as compares to female participants t (348) =4.57, p < .01. So it was concluded that this research is not only fruitful in government setupsbut also in private and educational sector for the sake of industrial development,organizational climate, leadership and decision making within public and in differentinstitutions of Pakistan. | 2018- 2020 |
Maria Ashraf | MS | “The effect of Knowledge sharing practices on employee attitudinal outcomes in IT industry: Mediating role of ambidexterity The aim of present study was to examine the effect of knowledge sharing practices onemployee attitudinal outcomes that are learning commitment, employee engagement andwork satisfaction and also examined the mediating role of ambidexterity in their relationship.The area of study for examined relationship is IT sector of Pakistan. Two-stage clustersampling technique was used for this study. Data were collected through self-administratedquestionnaire from employees working in IT companies. The sample size is calculated byformula presented by Zikmund, Babin, Carr, and Griffin (2013) after conducting pilottesting. The sample size is 350, Response rate of this study was 88% as only 308questionnaires received in return. For the evaluation of proposed model, Preacher and Hayes,(2004) process was used. IBM SPSS 25 was used for descriptive statistics. Amos softwarewas used for Confirmatory factor analysis and also checked discriminatory and convergentvalidity. Findings of current study support all hypotheses and prove that knowledge sharingpractices positively effect on employee attitudinal outcomes such as learning commitment,employee engagement and work satisfaction and ambidexterity plays the role of mediation.Results of the current study will help HR practitioner to understand the linkage of knowledgesharing practices with ambidexterity and employee attitudinal outcomes (learningcommitment, employee engagement and work satisfaction) which will help them informulation of strategies, for example training and development and mentoring programs. | 2017-2019 |
