Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization(ORIC)
The ORIC was established in September 2011 in line with the policies of The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad to implement its goal of prioritizing research for future knowledge economy and sustainable economic growth..
In University of Gujrat, ORIC facilitates the teaching as well as non-teaching staff in promoting their research activities, build their capacity by organizing events and training, and provide technical support in seeking project grants from national and international donors. With specific focus on sustainable development goals (SDGs), ORIC has established network with national and global organizations to expand research horizon of University of Gujrat. The ORIC also ensures research meets worldwide standards and progresses. ORIC is elevating the university among the world's top research institutes.
ORIC is working to improve the university's research culture across all fields to compete with other universities in the country and overseas. It maintains strong student and faculty research standards. The ORIC has geared up to meet research and commercialization difficulties and offers complete services for R&D, innovation, commercialization, patent, collaborations, trainings, seminars, symposiums, conferences, and workshops.
