As a politics student, I struggle to understand the theoretical aspects of the social phenomenon. I teach politics and International relations courses and endeavor to undertake quality research in the field. Having applied statistical tools in social research, my aim is to continue with mixed methods in research while keeping in view the role of AI in political research.

  • My research areas include Pakistani and South Asian politics with a focus on Election in Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Currently, I am supervising Electoral Volatility, Electoral Behavior, Electoral Turnout, and Electoral Integrity in the wider field of Political Behavior and Political Participation. Looking forward to quality research in the same line.

The application of quantitative research design in unravelling the complex relationship between terrorism and Country Policy and Institutional Assessment (CPIA) scores, using panel data for multiple countries, and leveraging econometric models. More precisely, this study is based on data sourced from the Global Terrorism Database (GTD) and World Development Indicators (WDI), with specific focus on CPIA Scores. As such, this research furthered its investigation on the direct and indirect impact of terrorism on core elements of developing countries, such as economic management, structural policies, social inclusion, and public management. The ethical cornerstone is a persistent commitment to the standards of the institution while investigating integrity of data and emphasize the conformity of the research to the highest ethical norms. This study, in addition to filling such an important gap within academic discourses, aims to contribute to inform policy-making and institutional reforms in view of the evolving threat of terrorism. Focusing specifically on Pakistan and a few other developing countries, the research aims at providing solid empirical evidence for the impact of terrorism on the CPIA index with an ultimate purpose of helping policymakers, enriching academic discussions, and promoting national resilience against multifaceted challenges of terrorism. 2024
Kainaat Ehsan MS INVESTIGATION OF LOW FEMALE VOTER TURNOUT IN GUJRANWALA DISTRICT OF PUNJAB: A STUDY OF 2018 AND 2024 GENERAL ELECTIONS  In emerging democracies, female political participation is a common occurrence. It has a variety of facets. One of the best measures of political engagement is voter turnout. Among the many issues, low female voting participation is a persistent problem in developing nations like Pakistan. There are, in theory, several factors that go into a conventional election system. This research tries to comprehend the low voter turnout in elections and the poor political participation of women from a public health and behavioral perspective. the study was to gather information for a multivariate analysis of the institutional, legal, psychological, sociopolitical, and structural traditional variables that contribute to poor female turnout in the Gujranwala area of Punjab Province, Pakistan. The study indicates the influence of various factors on turnout making female voters. Multiple factors affect the female voting turnout such as socioeconomic factors, institutional and legal barriers, political awareness and mobilization, security concerns, and representation. Societies can fully achieve democratic representation and participation by emphasizing gender equity in electoral procedures and creating an atmosphere that encourages female political participation. The study is significant in understanding the phenomenon. 2024
