MIRZA NAVEED SHAHZAD received the M.Sc degree in Statistics, from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, M.Phil/M.S degree in Statistics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in Statistics from the Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2016. During his Ph.D., he won the fellowship for six months and conducted research work in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, McMaster University, Canada, and established new methods in Probability. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the department of statistics, University of Gujrat, Pakistan. Previously he worked as a lecturer in UOG, GCUF, and as assistant director in HEC. He has over 30 scholarly contributions in journals and conferences. His research focus in recent years is in probabilistic theory, applied statistics, Bayesian statistics, time-series analysis, hybrid models, and biostatistics. He is an active reviewer of many manuscripts related to his area of interest for several international journals. He has command of a variety of subjects and taught several courses at the graduate and postgraduate levels.

  • My research interests include Probabilistic theory, Applied Statistics, Bayesian Statistics, Time-series analysis, Hybrid models, and Biostatistics

Probabilistic theory towards the development of new probability distributions and their inferences

Bayesian Statistics, such as Bayesian analysis f k-component mixture distributions and the application of Bayesian Multivariate techniques

Time-series analysis, such as the environmental factors and financial matters time series data analysis

Hybrid models, towards the development of the new hybrid techniques by the time-series and machine and deep learning techniques
