Mobeen-ul-Islam

He holds a Ph.D. in Education as his highest academic achievement. Alongside his doctoral degree in Education, he has also attained a master's degree in Mathematics. Currently, he has been diligently serving as Assistant Professor, Department of Education. He has been serving the University of Gujrat, Gujrat, for approximately ten years. Prior to his tenure at the University of Gujrat, he dedicated seventeen years to the School Education Department, where he held the roles of a Senior Headmaster and Teacher Educator. This extensive experience significantly enhanced his administrative and supervisory skills.
To pursue a challenging research career in an intellectually stimulating environment that will help me to realize my dream of being a vanguard of technical innovations in the fields of Learning Environments Research, Science Education, Mathematics Education and Assessment & Evaluation in Education.

Asima Idrees | MS | Comparison of professionally qualified and non-professionally qualified university teachers on their assessment competencies and attitude towards educational assessment The study was conducted to compare the educational assessment competencies and attitude between professionally qualified and non qualified university teachers. The objectives of the study were to examine university teacher’s competencies and find out their attitude towards Educational Assessment.The population of the study was comprised of all the teachers teaching in public sector general universities situated in jurisdiction of Punjab province. The accessible population of this study was six public sector universities. These universities were university of Gujrat (UOG), Fatima Jinnah women university Rawalpindi (FJWU), Government College University Lahore (GCUL), Punjab University Lahore (PU), Lahore College for women university Lahore (LCWU) and university of Sargodha (UOS).The sample of study was comprised of 120 university teachers from two randomly selected Universities, i-e university of Sargodha and Lahore College for Women University. Two questionnaires were used to collect data from the sample. One for teacher’s assessment competencies and other for their assessment attitude. Reliability Statistics of Questionnaire for Teacher Competency is .81 and for Attitude scale is .82.The collected data was analyzed by using SPSS version (15). Mean, S.D and t-test were used to test the research question .Descriptive evidence of the study conclude that professionally qualified teachers are relatively more competent in administrating Assessment, Scoring and Grading ,and in reporting result competencies. Whereas both professionally qualified and non qualified teachers are equally competent in instructional decisions and planning Assessment competencies. The findings of study also reveal that professionally qualified teachers tended to have more positive attitude towards assessment. They show more willingness and pleasure, comfort feeling and value the assessment than non qualified teachers.
