Dr. Muhammad Usman Arshad has been serving as a lecturer in the Department of Commerce at the University of Gujrat, Pakistan, since the year 2015. Prior to his appointment at the University of Gujrat, he served as a lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Sargodha, Bhakkar Sub-Campus, beginning in 2012. He obtained his doctorate in finance from the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) in Beijing, China. Moreover, he obtained his BBA (Hons) Banking and Finance and MBA Banking and Finance degrees from Hailey College of Banking and Finance with a concentration in finance. His research interests encompassed corporate finance, asset pricing, corporate governance, and international finance. He has been instructing courses related to corporate finance, managerial finance, business finance, investment portfolio management, and credit management since 2012. He has presented his research at numerous international conferences in Pakistan. He has also served as a session chair at international conferences conducted at Hailey College of Commerce, University of the Punjab. Dr. Muhammad Usman Arshad lists the journals that have published his research. These journals are recognized by SCOPUS, the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC), the Association of Business Schools (ABS), and Impact Factor. They are also indexed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in categories W, X, and Y. In 2022, the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan designated him as an officially recognized Ph.D. supervisor. Moreover, he serves as the coordinator for the Department Society known as the Society of Accounting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship (SAFE) and acts as the focal person for the Business Incubation Centre (BIC) at the University of Gujrat, Pakistan.
