Dr. Dr. Fayyaz Ahmad
I underwent rigorous training at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where I pursued my doctoral research with a focus on modeling and analyzing functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) of the human brain. Following the completion of my doctoral studies, I was honored with a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Electrical Engineering, specifically at KAIST's fMRI Lab, from 2010 to 2013. This experience further honed my expertise in the intricate workings of fMRI technology and its applications. Upon returning to Pakistan in 2014, I embarked on an academic journey at the Department of Statistics, University of Gujrat, as an Assistant Professor. Over the years, I have ascended to the role of Associate Professor and currently have the privilege of leading the department, where I continue to contribute to the advancement of statistical research and education.
