I am Associate Professor & Chairperson of the Department since 2016. Earlier, I joined the University of Gujrat in 2012 as Assistant Professor in Political Science and also served as Head of the Department (2012-16). I was awarded PhD Degree in Political Science by Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan in 2011. For PhD Research, I won HEC-IRSIP scholarship and joined University of Oxford, UK in 2007. I have been teaching Political Science since 1997.

  • My principal research interests include Comparative Federalism, Power-sharing, and Electoral Politics. Currently, I am Principle Investigator of HEC funded NRPU project on " Decentralization, Subnational Politics and Democratic Transition in Pakistan (2010-17)".
