Statement of Research Interest
My research interests lie at the intersection of art, design, and technology, with a focus on exploring innovative approaches to visual storytelling, user interface (UI) design, and immersive experiences in digital media. With over a decade of professional experience in graphic design, 3D modeling, and art direction, I am particularly passionate about investigating how form, composition, lighting, and color theory can be leveraged to create engaging and impactful visual narratives across 2D and 3D mediums.
I am deeply interested in the evolving role of art in mobile applications and gaming, especially in culturally specific markets such as the Gulf region. My work at BridgeGate Studios and Gameview Studios has allowed me to explore the unique challenges and opportunities of designing for Arabic-language audiences, blending traditional aesthetics with modern digital techniques. This has sparked my curiosity about the cultural and psychological factors that influence user engagement and how art can bridge cultural gaps in global markets.
Additionally, I am keen to explore the potential of emerging technologies, such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), in enhancing user experiences and storytelling. My academic background in Media Arts and Communication Design, combined with my practical expertise, positions me to investigate how these technologies can be integrated into creative workflows to push the boundaries of visual design.
Ultimately, my research aims to contribute to the development of innovative design methodologies that not only enhance aesthetic appeal but also improve user interaction and accessibility in digital media. I am committed to advancing the field through interdisciplinary collaboration, experimentation, and a deep understanding of both artistic principles and technological advancements.
