He has been teaching to BEd. (Hons), Masters’, M. Phil classes since 2010 & PhD Education from 2015. His interest areas are ‘Educational Psychology (Learning Theories’ Motivation in learning, Constructivist/students’ centered approaches, Collaborative learning, and Classroom management, Developing authentic assessment tasks, and Research in Education for academic and policy purpose in Moral, Cognitive and Social Developments: values, attitudes, and life skills; and in testing etc. He has availed International Trainings on Curriculum Development, Test development, portfolio assessment, Teaching and assessing Reading, and Active Learning from USAID Faculty development Programs. He participated as faculty member of the Partner university in the two USAID Funded Projects Pre-STEP (2010-14) and Pakistan Reading Project (2015-18). He has also previously taught to elementary, secondary levels for 18 years in Punjab School Education department. He also worked in different capacities as Vice/ Principal, as Master trainer and Trainer of Trainers, Human Resource Manager in Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad for 8 years. He enjoyed success as master trainer & Lead Trainer in Professional development programs of Schools, under DSD/QAED Punjab and Islamabad. He delivered about 1000 lectures to Master/BEd students of AIOU in different 3 districts: Mianwali, Rawalpindi and Gujrat. He has Joined as University faculty member in 2010 and afterwards collaborated with an International Organization, (Association For Academic Quality) for professional development of teachers, Heads of Private sector Schools in Islamabad, AJK and in 8 different districts of Punjab. He signed contracts with Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) and National Testing Service (NTS) & developed Tests for academic and Recruitment purposes, 08 and 23 respectively. He got a good experience to participate as member in developing, i) UOG Business Plan (2012-15); under supervision of HEC, and ii) Department of Education: Strategic Plan 2012-22 under guidance of USAID. He has been member of Two different Board of studies and member Board of Faculty from 2015-20. He guided more than 100 BEd students in doing their action research projects. He has supervised 35 M. Phil students in doing theses to complete their degrees. He is currently advising 4 PhD scholars in conducting PhD research to write their dissertations at UOG. He has actively worked in a USAID funded research project on ‘Teaching Practicum in teacher education’. He worked as a program developer & Resource Person in HEC and UOG jointly funded project: Capacity Building of the Social Change Agents: School heads and Teachers in Public and Private Sector schools. He assisted to the Vice Chancellor UOG, who was chairing 2 different committees supervising; i) Pre-STEP a USAID & ii) Thematic Grants Social Science research Projects, in reviewing, and approving for final conduction of studies. He authored 9 units, (2 on Elementary Teacher Education, 2 on Educational Psychology and 2 on ECE and 3 on Inclusive Education) for Teacher Education Courses., published in AIOU course books. He has presented 6 Research Papers in International conferences and participated more than 10 National and International Conferences in Pakistan. He has successfully conducted Faculty development Training workshops at UOG since 2013-2019, having encouraging feedback from the participants. He got published 5 research papers in HEC recognized (3 in Y and 2 in X category_1 published and 1 accepted ) peer reviewed Journals and 05 more are in pipeline for review and, publishing. He works as reviewer with 5 different HEC recognized National journals of Education.
