Dr. Abd ur Rehman completed his PhD in Computer Science from UET Lahore. During his doctoral studies, he was an integral part of the Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science at UET Lahore, where he worked as a researcher in various capacities for eight years. His core expertise lies in machine learning, with a primary research focus on **text classification**. In 2016, he joined the Department of Computer Science at the University of Gujrat, where he has been actively involved in teaching and research at the BS, MS, and PhD levels. At the undergraduate level, he has taught a diverse range of courses, including core computer science subjects as well as select mathematics courses. As a research supervisor, he has guided numerous MS students, particularly in applying machine learning techniques to areas such as text classification, patient diagnosis, self-driving cars, and bioinformatics. His contributions continue to shape the field through both academic instruction and impactful research.
