Engr. Dr. Shoaib Rauf is a leading expert in Solar PV Nano Grids, with extensive experience in renewable energy systems and electrical power engineering. He has been a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Gujrat since 2007. He holds an MS in Electrical Engineering (Electrical Power) from the University of Lahore and a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Solar PV Nano Grids from COMSATS University Islamabad. His teaching and research focus on power systems, renewable energy integration, and sustainable energy solutions. With over 18 years of industry experience, Dr. Shoaib has led the installation and commissioning of solar power plants exceeding 8 megawatts for industrial and residential applications. He has also conducted hands-on training workshops on solar PV installation for final-year students since 2007. Additionally, he has 5-6 years of experience managing transport operations and maintenance for one of the largest university bus fleets in Pakistan at UOG. An accomplished researcher, Dr. Rauf has published extensively in national and international journals and conferences, accumulating a total Impact Factor of over 65. He was awarded the Research Productivity Award in 2017 at UOG and currently supervises two PhD and 22 MS students.
