Dr. Zaheer Abbas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Gujrat, Pakistan. Dr. Abbas has completed his PhD in Sociology with specialization in Criminology from International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan. Dr. Abbas was awarded HEC scholarship under International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP) for U.K (University of London, School of Law) by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. He was also invited by Universitas Airlangga Indonesia (UNAIR) as visiting faculty. He is the approved PhD supervisor of Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Dr. Abbas has more than eleven years of experience in the academia and development sector. Dr. Abbas has the experience of working with other international and national organizations. He specializes in Sociology of Crime and Criminal Justice System and his research interests include: Criminology, Violence, Sociology of Deviance, Terrorism and Policing. | Niaz Ahmed | MS | Some Novel Techniques of Fingerprints for Criminal Investigation in Pakistan The novel study has been done by using finger prints to solve a murder case. It proves that how much finger prints help in solving such cases. All Intelligence and forensic teams used forensic technique to solve such cases in minimum time. The investigation into the death scene urged looking into the role of fingerprints very once, highlighting the need of conducting a proper and complete investigation into the crime scene. According to the primary study of the crime scene, death appeared to occur accidently and was related to homicide based on the shreds of evidence and the state of the dead corpse. | 2021 |
