Ar. Muhammad Talha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at the University of Gujrat, Pakistan. An alumnus of the University of Gujrat, he earned his Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from the institution and later completed his MPhil in Architecture from the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, with a specialization in architectural heritage conservation. With seven years of academic experience, he has been actively engaged in teaching, research, and curriculum development, mentoring future architects through courses in Architectural Design, Professional Practice, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Control Systems, and the History of Architecture. His academic and research interests include architectural conservation, sustainable architecture, urban regeneration, climate-responsive design, and the integration of emerging technologies into architectural education and professional practice. In addition to academia, Ar. Talha has significant professional experience in architecture and the construction industry, having successfully contributed to residential, commercial, and institutional projects in both Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. His expertise includes architectural design, project management, construction supervision, interior architecture, landscape design, and Building Information Modeling (BIM), enabling him to effectively bridge academic knowledge with industry practice. Ar. Muhammad Talha is a registered architect with the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) and currently serves as the Chairman, Institute of Architects Pakistan (IAP), Chenab Chapter, for the 2025-2026 term. Through his leadership, he is committed to strengthening professional collaboration, promoting architectural excellence, and fostering meaningful engagement between academia, industry, and the architectural community.
