By training, I am a Physicist, and I am enjoying working in Materials Physics. I pursued my BSc in Physics in Pakistan, a Master's from Liverpool Hope University, United Kingdom, and a Ph.D. from the School of Materials Science & Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. Following my doctoral studies, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, Xiamen University, Malaysia, and as a Research Scientist at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Materials & Environment, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. I currently work as an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Gujrat, Pakistan. My research focuses on designing, synthesizing, and characterizing metal hydrides, composites, and alloys for hydrogen storage and renewable energy applications, including phase changes in different environments, hydrogen storage in compressed nanomaterials, hydrogen-matter interactions, and modeling solid-state metal hydrides in COMSOL Multiphysics. Additionally, I am also studying hydrogen storage materials, solid solutions, interfaces, and phase transitions. For synthesis, I am using solid-state mechanochemical, hydrothermal, and wet-impregnation-infiltration methods. For characterization, I am employing several tools, including XRD, SEM, TEM, BET, DSC, TGA, TPD, FTIR, XPS, Raman, and Sievert-type PCT. My work is published in high-impact, peer-reviewed international journals with a total impact factor of 145, including Interdisciplinary Materials, Materials Chemistry A, Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry C, Applied Materials & Interfaces, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Sustainable Energy & Fuels, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, etc.
