I was born and raised in Peshawar under the guidance of devoted parents. After completing my graduation from the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, I worked in the private sector for a brief period but soon realized my passion for research. I pursued an MPhil in Biotechnology at Quaid-i-Azam University, where I later completed my PhD after earning the First Indigenous Scholarship. My doctoral research began in the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory and later continued at the National Institute for Genomics and Advanced Biotechnology. In 2011, I joined the University of Gujrat, where I have been actively involved in teaching and research. I also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Imperial College London. While my early research focused on genetically modified organisms (GMOs), my current interests include using biological systems for pest control and exploring applications of nanobiotechnology.

I am deeply fascinated by molecular biology and strive to apply its principles to explore and benefit diverse living systems.
