Dr. Yasir Aftab Farooqi is a dedicated academic, researcher, and professional trainer with a strong background in Human Resource Management (HRM), Organizational Behavior, and Business Management. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Gujrat, he has been actively engaged in teaching and mentoring students in subjects such as Performance Management, Project Management, Organizational Behavior, and Total Quality Management. With a Ph.D. in HRM from Superior University, Lahore, Dr. Yasir has a keen interest in leadership, organizational performance, and workforce motivation. His research contributions are reflected in various publications in recognized academic journals, furthering knowledge in HRM and business strategy. Beyond academia, Dr. Yasir has extensive experience in corporate training and sales management, having worked in various educational and professional organizations as a trainer and consultant. His leadership roles in the corporate sector, particularly in regional sales management, have provided him with valuable industry insights, enhancing his ability to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Passionate about continuous learning and professional development, Dr. Yasir is committed to fostering organizational excellence and leadership growth. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys reading and sports, particularly cricket, badminton, and hockey.
My research interests lie at the intersection of Human Resources (HR), Leadership, and Organizational Behavior, with a focus on understanding how leadership styles, organizational culture, and HR strategies influence employee engagement, performance, and well-being. Additionally, I seek to investigate how evolving workplace dynamics—such as remote work, generational diversity, and digital transformation—affect team collaboration, leadership effectiveness, and organizational change. Through my research, I aim to contribute to the development of evidence-based HR and leadership practices that foster inclusive, high-performing, and adaptable organizations.
