Mr. Nasim Ahmad
I hold a Masters of Arts in Sociology and MPhil in a Subfield . Before joining the department I had been conducting sociological research for a research center affiliated with The University of Gujrat. I believe in public sociology and as a trained facilitator i have mentored dozens of Social Action projects for university youth. Other than sociology i take keen interest in Philosophy and biodiversity . With an agenda to preserve the antique breeds of Pakistan i am raising a couple of dozens of Aseel breed chickens on a dedicated facilities in a nearby village.
My research interests revolve around the interdisciplinary themes of media ,culture and society . As such i am interested in the philosophy of social science and its contemporary implications for an empirical social science . I am currently engaged in the research on youth cultures especially political and religious ones.
