Naeem Mahmood Ashraf is a lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Institute of Chemical & Biological Sciences, University of Gujrat, Pakistan. Naeem obtained his undergraduate training from Government College University, Lahore, Pakistan in 2005. He graduated from the Department of Biochemistry, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2008 and obtained his MPhil research degree from Quaid-i-Azam University in 2010. From 2010 to 2013, he served as a chemist in the Feed & Water Testing Lab, Rawalpindi. His research interests include structural Biology & Bioinformatics. I am currently inclined toward the data science and learning and teaching various aspects of data science like R, Python and SQL. I personally think that data sciences are going to be the most important aspect of research in the near future and it is need of time to learn it. I am really thankful to http://www.datacamp.com for providing me and my student the free access to all courses. This will help us alot to learn the skills in this field.
- Dr Asharf research work is focused on Bioinformatics, biostatistics and application of machine learning on biological models. He did his PhD from Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of Gujrat, under supervision of Dr Nadia Zeeshan. In his PhD work, he used a bioinformatics approach to design thermostable protease for industrial applications. He also applied for a patent of the thermostable protease designed during PhD work.
