Dr. Saqib has been working as a Lecturer in the Department of Commerce at the University of Gujrat, Pakistan, since 2012. He completed his Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (2023-2025) at Prince of Songkla University, Thailand and was awarded with esteemed accolades, including the Dean’s Award for Research Excellence, the Best Researcher Award, and the honorary cap. He obtained his Ph.D. and M.Phil degrees with magna cum laude and summa cum laude, respectively. His main research interests are International Finance, Financial Development, Risk Management, and Sustainability. He has been teaching Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship-related courses since 2011. He has presented his research work at several international conferences in the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Thailand, and Pakistan. He has also participated as a session chair and keynote guest speaker at national and international conferences. Dr. Saqib lists research publications in Impact Factor, Journal Citation Reports (JCR), Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC), the Association of Business Schools (ABS), SCOPUS-listed, and Higher Education Commission of Pakistan's approved W, X & Y indexed journals. He is a member of the external examiner's board for Ph.D., M.Phil. or equivalent degrees for commerce, business administration, and management sciences students at different Universities in Pakistan. He has been a designated member of the scientific committee of the World Academy of Science, Engineering, and Technology (WASET) since February 2015 and a Member of the International Society for Development and Sustainability, Japan, since April 11, 2018. He is a certified trainer and lead facilitator of the British Council (Active Citizenship Program). The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan appointed him as an approved Ph.D. supervisor in 2022. Furthermore, he is a member of the Board of Studies, Department of Commerce, University of Gujrat, Gujrat, Pakistan.
