I am Dr. Aasia Sharif, a researcher and lecturer in Zoology specializing in proteomics, molecular physiology, and endocrinology. I hold a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, with research focused on identifying predictive biomarkers for preeclampsia. Currently, I serve as a Lecturer at the University of Gujrat, teaching Molecular Physiology, Clinical Endocrinology, and Evolutionary Biology. My research has been published in Biologia Pakistan, and I have presented at national symposiums. With expertise in SDS-PAGE, ELISA, histological techniques, and statistical analysis, I am committed to advancing biomedical research and maternal-fetal health through innovative biomarker discovery.

  • My research focuses on proteomic analysis and biomarker discovery, particularly in identifying predictive markers for preeclampsia. I have worked on quantitative plasma protein profiling, C-reactive protein levels in pregnancy complications, and drug-induced developmental defects in animal models. Utilizing SDS-PAGE, ELISA, and statistical analysis, my work aims to enhance early disease detection and improve maternal-fetal health outcomes through molecular diagnostics and clinical research.
