BSc Electrical Engineering
Eligibility
At least 60% marks in F.Sc-Pre-Engineering /relevant DAE (Diploma in Associate Engineering) duly recognized from PBTE (Pakistan Board of Technical Education) or equivalent + UET Test are required to apply for admission in BSc-Electrical Engineering Program. DAE holders may apply against (5%) reserved seats in relevant. The merit will be calculated as 70% marks of Fsc/Intermediate + 30% marks of UET test.

For admission in MSc obtained education with terminal degree inrelevant subject of Electrical Engineering.The candidate shall have at least45% marks in the annual examinationsystem or 2.5 CGPA in the semestersystem in terminal degree. Projects
The Department of Electrical Engineering is actively participating in design and development of various projects at national and international level. The 90% of students of Final Year of Electrical Engineering hunts funding from ICT and local industry. The faculty is doing following projects:
- Design and implementation of Al-Jazari Block building on Solar PV System.
- Solar Water Heating System using Carbon Dioxide (CO2) as a mediating fluid.
- Efficiency enhancement of existing electrical fans (in collaboration with Gujrat Industry).
- Technical loss evaluation of GEPCO system.
- Establishment of Fan Testing Laboratory in collaboration with Govt. of Punjab and
Gujrat Electrical Fan Industry Manufacturers (PC-I is submitted).
Harmonic Analysis of Industrial loads (Arc Furnace, Rice Mills).
