MS/MPhil Biotechnology

Admission Criteria

• BS (Four years degree after intermediate) in Biotechnology shall be required.
• The candidate shall have at least 45% marks in the annual examination system or 2.5 CGPA in the semester system examination throughout his / her academic career except in Matriculation and Intermediate examinations.
• Candidate shall have to pass the Departmental Subject Based Written Test (DSBWT) and interview.

PhD Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Biotechnology

Admission Criteria

• At least sixteen (18) years of education with terminal degree in relevant domain with thesis shall be required.
• The candidate shall have at least 60% marks in the annual examination system or 3.0 CGPA in the semester system in the terminal degree with not more than two second divisions in entire academic career.
• Not less than 50 % marks in any degree and no third division or “D” grade throughout his / her academic career except in Matriculation and Intermediate examinations.
• GRE / GAT subject (60%) shall be required with submission of application form.
• In addition specific eligibility criteria of departments concerned (if any) shall be applied.
• Final merit of the candidates shall be determined as per UOG PhD Rules and Regulations mentioned in the Student Hand Book available at Students’ Service Center, Hafiz Hayat Campus, UOG, Gujrat.
