The University of Gujrat (UoG) hosted a high-level meeting of faculty members from various academic departments at its Hafiz Hayat Campus. The session was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahoor ul Haq, and was aimed at identifying key challenges in the domain of research and development (R&D) and formulating actionable strategies for institutional progress.
A considerable number of Assistant Professors participated in the meeting, contributing insights and recommendations to strengthen UoG’s research ecosystem. In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the imperative of active faculty participation in shaping the future of higher education institutions. He stated that teaching and research are mutually reinforcing functions and that faculty innovation and scholarly work play a central role in elevating the University's academic standing.
Prof. Dr. Zahoor ul Haq further emphasized the importance of successful research initiatives as a foundation for institutional excellence and national contribution. He reaffirmed the University's commitment to upgrading departmental laboratories in alignment with modern technological standards.
