Guidelines for Participation in the UOG 8th Convocation 2023 Scheduled to be Held on Thursday 26 October 2023
Rehearsal of the Convocation will be held on Wednesday 25 October, 2023
The Gowns, Caps, Hood and Admit Cards must be collected on Rehearsal Day 25 October, 2023.
- Rehearsal Day
The Graduates are required to arrive at Hafiz Hayat Campus on 25 October, 2023 by 9:00 am, and collect the following items from the venues given below prior to the Rehearsal.

Collection of Convocation Costume i.e. Gown, Graduation Cap and Hood upon payment of Rs 1500/- cash (including Rs 150/- as rent and Rs 1350/- as security refundable upon return of Costume after the Convocation). |
Faculty-wise Venues already communicated through email. |
10:30 to 11:45 pm (Before Start of Rehearsal) |

Participate in Convocation rehearsal |
Convocation Pindaal in front of Quaid-i-Azam Library, UOG |
Be Seated in Convocation Pindal in front of Main Library Building by 12:00 noon

- Convocation Day
Arrive at 9:00 a. m. on Convocation Day properly dressed (wearing gown, cap, hood, along with Original CNIC, and Convocation Admit Card) at Hafiz Hayat Campus and be seated in Convocation Pindal by 10:00 a. m.
Attend the Convocation in graceful manner.
If you have not received your degree yet you may collect your degrees from your respective academic department after the Convocation by submitting dully filled “Degree Receiving Form” along with original Convocation Admit Card and copy of the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

Anyone who is not registered for the convocation, does not attend the Rehearsal, not wearing gown, hood, cap, do not possess original CNIC and Convocation Admit Card, or arrives late will not be allowed to attend the Convocation Ceremony. [Cite your source here.] |
