Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistants for a period of 12 months contract (non extendable), under HEC funded project (P # 9595) entitled “Integrated Pest Management using Multispectral Machine Vision”. 

Job Description: Literature review, Machine Learning algorithm development and implementation in Python language for multi-spectral machine vision,  Intelligent Control and SLAM of Autonomous Quadcoptor for Agricultural Field Applications, Embedded Systems Development, and Field Surveys and Data Collection.

Note:

• Date of Interview: (20 days after advertisement) Time: 10:30am, Venue: E-204.
• The eligible candidates have to appear on a walk-in-interview at the given time and place along with one original & two set of attested photocopy of certificates, one passport size photograph and curriculum vitae.
• Applicant must have throughout first class career and MSc Student of Electrical Engineering with working knowledge of Machine Learning, Digital Image Processing, Embedded Systems Programming, Embedded Systems Development, and Intelligent Control with algorithm development and implementation skills especially in Python. Working knowledge of ROS will be highly preferred.
• MSc enrolled student will be preferred.
• The Position is purely temporary. Principal Investigator (PI) will have exclusive right to terminate the engagement due to unsatisfactory performance.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
• No separate letter will be issued.
