The University of Gujrat (UoG) has introduced the MY UoG App to provide students with a wide range of facilities and services through a single digital platform. In addition, to simplify the admission process for the current academic year, the University has launched UoG SmartAssist on WhatsApp.
On this occasion, a special meeting was held at the Hafiz Hayat Campus under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahoor-ul-Haq, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz. The meeting was attended by heads and chairpersons of various academic departments, who received a detailed briefing on the newly launched application and SmartAssist platform.
Addressing the participants, Professor Dr. Zahoor-ul-Haq stated that in today's rapidly advancing technological era, providing students with high-quality services has become one of the University's foremost responsibilities. He emphasized that the MY UoG App and UoG SmartAssist represent a significant milestone in delivering efficient services and facilities to students. He further remarked that the true identity and strength of any university lie in its talented and capable students.
Director Information Technology, Mr. Zahid Raza, informed the participants that both the application and SmartAssist were developed entirely as a student-led project. A dedicated team of students from the Departments of Computer Science, Information Technology, and Management Sciences played a vital role in designing and developing the various features of the platforms.
