Audil Rashid currently holds a permanent faculty position in the University of Gujrat, Pakistan and serving in the Department of Botany. Trained in life sciences background, he completed Masters in Botany from Government College Lahore. Later he received Ph.D. in Biology (Plant Sciences) from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad with specialization in Environmental Health. In 2014, he completed post-doctoral research work in Urban Health from Peking University, Beijing. With a passion of exploring environmental health, he has developed expertise in impact assessment and works for urban and eco-health promotion.
