358 Employees (BS 2 TO BS 14) Inducted Into Regular Service of UOG

Gujrat: More than 300 employees of the university have been regularized. University of Gujrat UOG Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin announced the regular appointment of 358 employees. The Registrar Mr. Mohammad AkramBhatti made the arrangements for a special ceremony to distribute these appointment orders. Assistant Registrar H.R SarwatKhursheed informed that employees ranging from BS 2 to BS 14 including office attendants, office assistants, drivers, security guards, chowkidars, lab assistants, electricians, helper electricians, senior and junior clerks, dispatch riders, machine operators and cooks have been selected 3776 applicants applied for these posts out of which 2085 were short listed. Human Resource department completed the process during the month of March, April , May, June and July and on the 27^th of Ramzanon a very blessed day dispensed regular appointment letter as Eid gifts to the incumbents. Registrar Mr. AkramBhatti, Controller Exams Mr. MaqsoodAkhter, Principal NSMC Dr. Sajjad Ahmed, Director QEC Dr. TahirAqeel, Ms. AzraGhani, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Bhatti, Dr. Gulzar Ahmed, DrTalatIqbal, Col (R) MusadaqHashmi, Mr. ShahzadNadeem, Mohammad Aslam and other senior staff members were present in the ceremony. At the end driver Mazhar thanked the Vice Chancellor on behalf of the appointees and vociferously appreciated the merit policy of UOG which he says has won their hearts.

Gujrat: Merit and nothing but merit, is the guiding principle of University of Gujrat UOG. The Non-Gazetted  employees  who have already served this university for 5 to 6 years, deserved to be regularized but we adopted a regular bonafide process. We advertised the posts, received applications and made selections through a regularly constituted selection committee. In this way candidates were selected on the basis of merit. I am extremely delighted today while distributing appointment letters that the deserving have got their right. I am also thankful to God that the appointments have been made in accordance with rules and regulations, in a transparent manner. Registrar Mr. Mohammad AkramBhatti and HR Incharge Ms. SarwatKhursheed have worked round the clock in completing this task. I congratulate all the selected candidates and expect that they would leave no stone unturned in the progress and development of this university and work at their posts with zeal, dedication, and commitment.
